Travel- Compare and Contrast

Lifting... Slowly lifting... That glamorous moment when it's too late to stop for the whiners, but just the right moment for the kids to scream joyfully as that once enormous skyscraper or truck looks as if it can be squashed under the vindictive foot like an ant. In the other world, you would be drifting away as the skyscrapers get smaller and smaller. As you can see, both the ship and the plane are synonymous in the excitement that they emit. In a plane and a ship, a person gets "butterflies" in their stomach as either vehicle pulls away, awaiting the adventure that is too come. In both, a person will love the feeling of either being in the middle of the ocean, seeing nothing but water surrounding you, or being above the clouds, looking at those cotton balls from the top of them. As boring as this may sound, people like something different. That is why planes and ships are so lovable. They are unusual. Sometimes, though, they can be detrimental to another's eye.
For the whiners, those moments of excitement are replaced with terror beyond what they expected. They would cry as the skyscrapers got smaller. The "butterflies" would be demons in their stomachs, gnawing on their consciousness. Seeing nothing but water or clouds around you would be misery to the extent. Whiners are the type of people that don't like adventure. They are always looking at the catastrophes that could happen. They are like a turtle, inside their shell. All those people need, though, is some right guidance and baby steps. Start small and end up big. The abnormality will grow and soon, the turtle will be out of its shell and racing against the rabbit, having the adventure of his/her life.

  2. I enjoyed the realistic descriptions of both the plane or ship. They were really good! But I didn't really see your thesis, or are we not supposed to have one? Either way, it was awesome!
